Why it matters

What a license actually buys you.

Plenty of solar and HVAC sales companies are not contractors at all. Here is what hiring a licensed one means for your home.

One license, one point of accountability

Every project runs under Senga’s contractor license and warranty. Whoever is on your roof or in your garage is working to our standards, with a Senga coordinator in charge.

Permits in our name

We pull the permits, meet the inspector and submit the utility paperwork. Your project is on record with the county from day one.

Covered if something goes wrong

Bonds protect you if the job is not completed to code. Liability and workers’ comp protect your property and the crew.

A company that will still be here

Nine years in, headquartered in El Dorado Hills, with one local number for warranty and service questions.

Good questions

Straight answers, no sales pitch.

Anything else you want to see? Ask. Documentation is not a hassle for us.

Ask us anything
How do I check a contractor’s license myself?

Go to the CSLB website and search by license number. Ours is 1033247. The record shows the classification, status, bonds and workers’ comp insurance on file, maintained by the state, not by us.

Can I get a certificate of insurance before work starts?

Yes. Ask your project coordinator or contact us and we will send current certificates for general liability and workers’ compensation.

Who actually does the work at my house?

Senga does. Your project is designed, permitted and managed by Senga, every installer on site works under our license, insurance and quality standards, and one coordinator stays with you from the first call to the final inspection.
