Solar Repair & Rescue
Your solar company is gone. Your panels are still on the roof.
We installed systems for the national brands that left. When they closed their doors, the know-how stayed here in El Dorado Hills.

The problem nobody warned you about
SunPower. Sunnova. Mosaic. Freedom Forever. If one of them installed your system, you've probably already discovered the hard part: the phone number doesn't work anymore, the monitoring app stopped updating, and the warranty paperwork points to a company that no longer exists.
Meanwhile your system sits up there, maybe producing, maybe not. Most homeowners don't find out theirs stopped working until a true-up bill shows up looking like a car payment.

Thousands of these roofs across the foothills are now running systems nobody is answering the phone for.

Why we can actually fix it
We didn't just study these systems. We installed them.
Senga Energy spent years installing solar for national brands as their local boots on the ground. We know how these systems were designed, which parts they used, where they cut corners, and how they fail. When those companies left the market, that experience didn't leave with them. It's still here, ten minutes up the road.
That matters when something breaks. A technician seeing your setup for the first time is guessing. We've stood on roofs just like yours, holding the same inverters, wiring the same panels.
What we fix
Most of it comes down to five things.
-
Systems that stopped producing
Diagnosis first, straight answer second. Sometimes it's a $200 fix. We'll tell you either way.
-
Inverter failures
The most common point of failure on orphaned systems, and usually the most fixable.
-
Monitoring that went dark
When your installer's app died, your visibility died with it. We can get you monitoring that doesn't depend on anyone's bankruptcy.
-
Removal and reinstall for reroofs
New roof coming? We take the panels down, store them safely, and put them back right.
-
Panel additions and battery retrofits
Once your system is healthy, we can make it do more, including storing your power instead of selling it to PG&E for pennies under NEM 3.

Honest answers
The questions everyone asks.
Is my warranty still good if my installer went out of business?
Usually the workmanship warranty died with the company. Equipment warranties from the panel and inverter manufacturers often survive, and we can help you figure out what's still covered and file claims where they exist. We won't pretend to honor a dead company's promises, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does.
How much does solar repair cost?
Diagnosis is the honest starting point, because "my solar is broken" can mean a tripped breaker or a dead inverter. We quote after we look, and we tell you if the fix isn't worth the money.
My system works, but my PG&E bill went up anyway. Why?
You're not imagining it. PG&E restructured rates in March 2026 with a new monthly fixed charge, and NEM rules changed what your exports are worth. If your system predates those changes, it may be healthy but mismatched to the new math. That's a different conversation than a repair, and we're happy to have it.
Do you buy out or take over solar leases?
No, and be careful with anyone who says they can make a lease disappear. What we can do is service the physical system and give you honest information about your options.

Still here. Still local. Still answering the phone.
Senga Energy is a local company at 4650 Golden Foothill Pkwy in El Dorado Hills. When you call, a person in your area code answers. That shouldn't be a selling point in this industry, but here we are.
